Julia came to 888ÆåÅÆ after completing her doctoral work at Georgetown University in Washington DC. She wrote a dissertation on prostitution in Hamburg, Germany, in the decades leading up to the First World War. She is completing revisions on a book-version of that project. At 888ÆåÅÆ, Julia teaches courses in modern European history.
